Are the stem cells sourced from aborted babies or embryos? Where does the human stem cell extract come from?
KERACELL’s® Multiple Human Cell Stem Cell Technology (MHCsc™) uses a cell free non-embryonic extract sourced from fibroblast conditioned media and mesenchymal conditioned media. There is NO HUMAN DNA whatsoever within the products, but instead the extract which is grown around the human starting material.
Do your products contain harsh chemicals such as sulfates, parabens, phthalates, etc.?
KERACELL® believes that less is more! Our products were formulated WITHOUT the use of sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, propylene glycol, sulfates, nanoparticles, phthalates, synthetic dyes, artificial colors, talc, gluten, animal derivatives, formaldehyde, formaldehyde donors, methylisothiazolinone (MIT), artificial fragrances, and (DEA) diethanolamine.
Are KERACELL® products safe for use during pregnancy/nursing?
While we have many customers, who have reported using KERACELL® products while nursing and/or pregnant with no adverse effects, we always recommend consulting your physician before using any KERACELL® products while pregnant or breast feeding.
Will my skin care products go bad if left in the heat?
Heat and sunlight have a real, chemical effect on your beauty products, which may cause them not to function as well. Proteins become denatured at high temperatures, so it is not ideal for our formulas with growth factors, peptides and proteins to be left in the heat for prolonged periods of time.
What is CBD (Cannabidiol)?
CBD is derived from the Cannabis plant. There are two strains (subspecies) of Cannabis - Indica and Sativa. Cannabidiol, or CBD, can be derived from either strain, but most CBD is derived from the Cannabis Sativa hemp variety which has less than 1% of THC, the psychotropic chemical than produces the marijuana high.
What are the benefits of including CBD within KERACELL® products?
The potential anti-seizure, anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor properties of Cannabidiol (CBD) are what get most of the attention, but not to be overlooked is the non-psychoactive cannabinoid's ability to improve the health and appearance of skin and hair when applied topically. Studies have shown that CBD can help an array of skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. CBD can also adjust the output of oils in the skin and hair, and inhibit the skin cell's lipid production, making it effective in acne control. CBD controls cell proliferation and differentiation, indicating it can be used in treatment efforts for skin diseases such as allergies and even potentially for cancer.
Is the CBD (Cannabidiol) within KERACELL® CBD products tested by a 3rd party lab?
Yes, KERACELL® products containing cannabinoid's are THC FREE and tested by an independent certified third party laboratory for purity, potency and lack of harmful chemicals from cultivation or extraction.
Why use stem cell extract-based products topically?
As we age, there is a natural reduction in the levels of growth factors and cytokines that maintain the youthful appearance of our skin and contribute to hair growth. Stem cells produce these essential factors, but their production decreases over time. By topically applying these missing factors, your skin cells begin to behave as they did when they were younger.
What type of stem cells does KERACELL® use?
KERACELL® attributes its rapid results to the combination of adult adipose (fat) derived stem cells and mesenchymal cells, which are donated from patients. These cells, typically discarded post-procedure, undergo multiple rigorous safety and efficacy checks before being used in our products.
So, are there actually stem cells in KERACELL® products?
No, there is no human DNA whatsoever in our products. The stem cells are carefully filtered, leaving only the purified and concentrated extract. This stem cell-derived growth factor is what we then include in our powerful product line.
Why are human stem cells better than plant stem cells?
We are not plants. Like works with like, so human-derived growth factors are most effective on human skin.
